Another rockin' night at Ten Ten Tapas

Gabriel effortlessly underscores the night with sweet and jazzy tunes from his many albums, then invites special guests to come and perform. Gabriel's musical friends always show up for a truly memorable time! 

We have had the best talent in the city be part of this much buzzed about evening, including LJ Mounteney, Lisa Fennell, Don Deagan, and Joseph Chappel (seen the video below). 

Other stellar talents include Billy Dixon, Cecile Larochelle, Don Deagan, Willy Ward, Loren Etkin,  Brock Miller, Langston Raymond, Gunther Klaus, Corey Cotts,  Riley Inge, Adam Rohrlick, Dave Ivaz, Doug Towle, Luis Giraldo, and many others... expect a cavalcade of starts April 5, and starting again in May.

Gabe'll be at Ten Ten Tapas on Saturday April 5 for his big send-off party, then every Saturday starting in May, after his tour which includes the New Orleans French Quarter Festival and the Las Vegas City of Lights Festival.

Don't forget the sultry and entertaining Rossi on guitar and steel drum, every Friday.

Ten Ten Tapas is easy to find and park. Look for the signs at 1000 Beach, and head down 20 yards to the Seawalk. It is near the False Creek Ferry terminal almost under the Burrard Bridge on the downtown side.

On Sundays the Jazz Brunch at 1010 is going stronger than ever!  The view is amazing, the food superb (with new, bigger plates, lol!) and a new bandstand so the sightlines are good from everywhere. The staff is geared up for the big crowds, and if you have been there and felt underserved, come on back- it's all good! Gabriel is featured and his brand of jazz is perfect for a leisurely brunch, so come and enjoy. Sundays start at 11:30, and are ongoing every week, so make it your hangout after church, before jazz vespers, or before a movie matinee or stroll around the SeaWalk.

We have been getting great response and good crowds with the Rockin' The Ribjoint Thursdays at Ten Ten Tapas.

Right in the most scenic corner of Vancouver, this is the perfect blend of very funky live jazz, sumptuous tapas style food, and incredible waterfront scenery!

Be sure you make it down on Thursdays from 7 - 9 pm for Juno Award winning trumpeter/flautist Gabriel Mark Hasselbach- he will have a special guest on board as well, hotshot guitarist Adam Rohrlick.

Get to Beach Ave via Howe St. from Pacific Blvd. and turn right and look for the lighted restaurant signs at 1000 Beach Ave, just 100 feet east of the bridge. Park nearby and walk through the little plaza at 1000 Beach to the SeaWalk, and Ten Ten Tapas will be on the right... you can't miss the little outdoor patio and signage. Parking is easy in the Aquatic Centre lot, on the street, or for free under the Granville Bridge, which leads you right on to the SeaWalk.  This is the new home of the 'jazz brunch in the city', featuring JUNO award winner Gabriel Mark Hasselbach! Every Sunday 11:30 -2:30 pm.On Thursday evenings 7:00- 9:00, Gabriel is 'Rockin' the Ribjoint' with his funkiest and bluesiest material, featuring Vancouver's own Adam Rohrlick on guitar. You can enjoy a St Louis style BBQ menu, and sample all the classic and new, flavoured bourbons and ryes, and those ever-so-smooth single malts. Beer specials always!
